Business Law Centre

自2004年,我一直在为USA Dance(美国全国性的非盈利运动型舞蹈组织)做志愿者。

The foundation of my law practice …

The support and care I received as I transitioned between fields and cultures have given me deep appreciation for the value people can be to each other.  It is a pleasure to assist people and businesses and help them grow and to help them solve issues.

My path from China to the US, and from science to law …

Graduate school brought me from China to the United States in 1998 and to The University of Oregon.  For years, I worked in chemistry labs and with computers.  Although I enjoyed science, I missed interacting more with people.  Finding a way to help people solve issues and improve their lives became a focus for me.  This led me to law school.

After graduating law school, I clerked for Judge Charles D. Carlson at Lane County Circuit Court for two years.  This experience enhanced my understanding of our legal system, of the needs and challenges faced by the litigants, and the demands and responsibilities of attorneys.

Business Law Centre provides a well-built management structure supporting professionals in their work to better the lives and business experiences of their clients.  It is a pleasure to be a part of this team.

The non-law part of me …

My biggest challenge, and mostly pleasure, is that of being a parent.  I am thankful for the unlimited support from my husband, as we learn together the importance of patience, flexibility and giving.

As a ballroom dancer and competitor, I like the mental and physical challenge as well as its social and artistic benefits.  Since 2004, I have been a volunteer of USA Dance, a national non-profit dancesport organization.  For the local chapter, I have served as President, Vice President, Secretary and DJ.
