My practice…
At heart, I am a planner and a problem solver. I feel very strongly that an attorney should be a counselor along with providing quality legal advice. I believe that an individual or business willing to trust an attorney for legal advice should expect and should receive the highest standard of customer service and communication.
I also have a passion for entrepreneurship and supporting small businesses. I believe in building sustainable businesses that are able to offer jobs and valuable goods or services that give back to their communities, thereby building stronger communities and local economies.
I joined with Business Law Centre for two main reasons. First, we share a passion for providing our clients with nothing less than top quality legal services. Second, I appreciate Business Law Centre’s commitment as an active and contributing member of Eugene’s community.
A little about me…
I was born in Southern California, raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, and attained an undergraduate degree from Ohio State with majors in History and Political Science. Prior to law school, I provided support to the highest levels of national security and counterterrorism policy-makers as a staff member at the White House in Washington, D.C. The experience was incredibly demanding and fast-paced, but it was very rewarding to have the opportunity to serve at such a high level of federal government.
Eventually, my wife and I could no longer resist the calling of the friendly people, natural beauty, and endless adventures of the Pacific Northwest. I pursued a law degree at the University of Oregon with a focus on business law coursework. During my final year of law school, I served as a member of the Small Business Clinic, which provides free legal services to local small businesses. I loved meeting with clients, learning about their businesses, and helping to develop solutions to improve their viability and increase their chances for success. I had found my legal calling.
My wife, daughter, our dogs, and I are very proud to call Eugene home. We love cheering on the Ducks and searching for the next breathtaking hike or perfect campsite.
