Before I became a Legal Assistant …
Drawn to science, I majored in Cell and Molecular Biology with a minor in Chemistry in college. I continued to pursue my interest in science by obtaining a Master of Science in Forensic Science. In graduate school, I also worked and interned at California Department of Justice, Bureau of Forensic Services. That experience exposed me to working with attorneys in courtrooms and sparked my curiosity in the legal field. Following graduate school, life led me to Eugene, when I came upon the Business Law Centre where not only the sophistication of the practice suits my interest and background, but the care and support provided to me as a professional are fulfilling.
Outside of work …
While in graduate school, I volunteered at children’s museums in California where I greatly enjoyed working with the children and their families. As a new comer to Oregon, I am still getting to know Eugene and the surrounding areas. Oregon is a perfect place for me to explore outdoor adventures and to appreciate nature. The local restaurants and other businesses offer endless excitement which I plan on taking full advantage of.
